So, where do you start?

  1. See that button top right that says LAUNCH!? Click it, fill out the initial contact, and we’ll be in touch.

  2. The first thing we’ll want to do is a quick Zoom call with you and your folks to get to know each other.

  3. If it seems like you may be a good fit, we’ll have to fill out the application.

  4. We’ll then want to talk to some people who know you and can vouch for you. It’s always helpful to hear from your community.

  5. If you’re accepted into the program, we’ll all celebrate!

  6. Get to work right away on getting your funding together. The first semester payment of $6,500 is due August 15th. The balance of $9,000 for the second semester is due on January 8. You can get some ideas for how to pay for this here.

  7. Start getting familiar with flights to San Jose, Costa Rica. You’ll want to fly into the Juan Santamaria International Airport. The airport code is SJO. (make sure it’s not SJC…that’s California!) You’ll also want to begin thinking about what you want to do during Christmas break. Like my Dad used to say, “You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.” You can fly home, travel abroad, or explore Costa Rica. Choose a flight that arrives on September 6. We’ll pick everyone up between 12 and 2 PM.

  8. You’ll receive a list of all the things you need to pack closer to the departure date.

  9. Oh man, I’m getting pumped just thinking about this!!

What will the schedule be like?

(Of course, this is subject to change)

Where will we be staying?

The Costa Rican mountains stay between 55º to 75º year round. It’s a safe area and close enough to the city, but also in nature!
